OUR STORY

XIX Exotic Alloys is an internationally known wheel company famous for manufacturing high end wheels since 1990. All XIX stainless steel chrome lip series wheels and the concave series wheels are manufactured to exceed the TUV and SFI standards by using the best TUV certified manufacturing factories that follow the strictest German OEM manufacturing standards.

All XIX Wheels are powder coated with a 7 coat pre-treatment stage and 9 coat finishing stage to last and appear flawless even when exposed to the most cruel road conditions; in comparison, most of the aftermarket wheels currently sold in the United States are coated with an inexpensive lacquer paint to cut down on the cost.

In addition to a very durable finish, XIX Wheels was one of the first in the industry to offer a 5" stainless steel chrome lip. The "Deep-Lip" stainless steel chrome lip series wheels offer a true stainless steel chrome lip instead of a polished stainless steel lip that other wheel companies use.

XIX Wheels was one the first companies in the industry to create staggered wheels. Staggered wheels have become the most popular style of wheels ever created.  The Staggered Wheel look is achieved by staggering the width and sometimes diameter of the front and rear wheels.

XIX Wheels were also one of the first to offer a “Multi-Piece” look on a cast wheel. A multi-piece wheels is made using a separate Face, Inner Barrel and Outer Barrel. This type of manufacturing is very expensive. XIX Wheels decided to create a more cost effective process to achieve the same “Multi-Piece” look at a fraction of the price. Taking a one piece cast wheel and giving it a multi-piece look was not an easy process. For example: the way the wheels is concaved and staggered had to be redesigned.  In order to create the “Multi-Piece” look, XIX Wheels was one of the first companies to offer undercut inner-barrels, and the outer barrels are milled in forged-lip design. Also adding bolt-on replaceable rivets and a big stainless steel chrome lip to a one piece wheel is what really completed the “Multi-Piece” look.

XIX Wheels is the first in the U.S.A. to create a bidirectional flow-formed wheel in 19" featuring a deep lip. Flow forming is one of the most advanced manufacturing technologies to enter the wheel industry. Flow Forming Technology involves the application of pressure to the inner barrel of the wheel, while spinning and after it has been casted.

This process stretches and compresses the aluminum, which increases tensile strength. In this respect the process shares similar properties to those found in the forging process. The final product is lighter, stronger, has increased elongation, and a much greater shock resistance as well as an increased load capacity over regular cast wheels. Most importantly, the weight saving is in the outer rim of the wheel which dramatically reduces rotational mass and enhances vehicle performance.
